CORONET TURF CULTIVARS

Subject to order size any seed mix can be grown to suit customer requirements, however the cultivars kept in stock are listed below.

CTPro1 - Golf Tees & Fairways, Hockey Pitches, General Landscaping and Ornamental Lawns subject to trampling. (Mowing Height: 15mm (0.6ins) minimum, 25mm (1ins) optimum).
This mix includes a dwarf ryegrass to increase the hardiness of the sward. It is a versatile turf suitable for lawns and sports pitches.
CTPro1 is a flexible turf which can be managed to produce a fine leaved, dense sward tolerant of close mowing, where the smooth stalked meadow grass and dwarf perennial rye grasses will not be obtrusive.
Alternatively, the management can be designed to exploit wear tolerance by relaxing the mowing height and increasing the quantity of nitrogen applied, when the smooth stalked meadow grass will dominate the sward encouraging swift recovery from damage.

CTSolo - The same as the above mix but with the addition of a
Shade tolerant variety. This mix has been designed to provide grass growth in shadier conditions and is ideally suited to smaller
Enclosed gardens.

Available to order ...
CTJ2 - Bowling Greens, Golf Greens, Cricket Squares, Fine Lawns, Shaded Areas. (Mowing Height: 5mm (0.3ins) minimum).
The seed mixture used for the production of CTJ2 turf is a modern variation of the traditional fescue/bent mixtures, exploiting the benefits of slender creeping red fescue replacing part of the chewings fescue to achieve improved wear tolerance. The inclusion of Dawson and Jupiter, fine leaved, diminutive cultivars, produces good autumn/ winter colour with improved tolerance to stresses such as drought, low fertility, shade and salt contamination.
